Graduate Recruiter

When, why and from where did you join Bright Futures Resourcing?

I joined Bright Futures as a placement student from Gloucestershire University in February, 2010 to become a Trainee Graduate Recruiter. Ultimately to gain more employability skills in the workplace as a recent graduate, while learning more about the graduate recruitment industry as a whole.

Bright Futures Resourcing couldn’t live without me because...

I’m often the first point of contact for students applying for our graduate schemes. As part of the Resourcing team, my role is to guide students through the initial process, so this could involve anything from chatting to them on the phone to finding out where the best ones are hiding!

Three interesting things we might not know about you...

1 – I don’t like junk food in any way shape or form. Except chocolate!
2 – I used to live in Johannesburg, South Africa for nearly 5 years.
3 – This summer I am cycling from London to Paris to raise money for Diabetes UK, despite not having ridden a bike for years.

If you were stranded on a desert island what 5 items would you take with you...

Music (solar-powered of course!), Pepsi Max, Jack Daniels and a good book.  And Kelly Brook (for conversation).

Describe yourself in the style of a drink...

The aforementioned JD and Coke – shouldn’t’ be left unattended.

If someone gave me £100,000 I would spend it on...

Round-the-world trip, to visit every single country! Except Wales.
