o    Due to a lack of time in the HR department, Bright Futures Resourcing needed to source graduates with strong leadership potential, in addition to high levels of competency in the Company’s seven key graduate skill areas.

o    Top tier candidates were required for three Graduate Programmes:

§  Marketing & Sales

§  Research & Development

§  Supply Chain and Demand Planning

THE PROCESS 

o    Bright Futures Resourcing met with and continues to meet with employees from previous graduate programmes and key personnel at Reckitt Benckiser to understand the business objectives and the culture of the company.

o    After the initial screening process by Bright Futures Resourcing, an assessment day was run for each division.

o    Six of the best candidates attended each assessment day

What excites you about your work?

"The most exciting thing that I do as part of my job is either working in the factory or working in our pilot scale unit because it’s on your feet, it’s exciting, it’s big scale equipment, hands-on, making the product on a large scale, and actually packing it into proper packaging at the end of the process. “One of the most exciting things that I’ve felt proud about doing was probably one of the category reviews – selling not just the brand strategy, but selling the whole category strategy to the buyer. I actually got to speak with the space planner and the buyer themselves. There was a really nice sense of involvement, and I guess getting the credit for the work that you’ve done”
